County Parks & Recreation Elects Officers for 2009 - 2010The Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission has recently elected new officers for the 2009-2010 year.
Sarah Ames has been elected chair for the second consecutive year. Ames has been a member of the Commission for four years.
Julie Smith has been elected vice chair, also for the second consecutive year.
The Parks and Recreation Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors concerning recreation programs and park facilities, and interprets the needs and desires of the community.
